Säve River

57°46′N, 12°18′E

The river doesn't sound the same twice. Its character shifts with the water level, the time of day, and the air temperature.

Field recordings, tonal design, textures — every decision rooted in one place. The first instrument in the Instrumental Places series.

Releasing in May 2026.

Instrumental Places

Sound has an origin. Place shapes expression.

Each instrument is shaped by a specific geographic location — the place is the creative brief. It defines the instrument's character: what it sounds like, what it feels like, what it isn't.

The place drives every creative decision — the field recordings, the tonal design, the textures, the cultural and emotional associations. A place carries sound, but it also carries meaning, history, and atmosphere. All of that is material.

The place provides the matter. We shape the tone.
